Minnesota Clearing started a long time ago when I was a kid. I would spend the winters in the woods with my father and brothers cutting logs and firewood for extra income. Back then, all we had was an old farm tractor and a chainsaw. A lot has changed since then, but my love for the woods and trees has not. I still love working in the woods, harvesting trees, clearing unwanted brush and invasive buckthorn, and protecting the young, healthy trees that represent the next generation of our forests.

I have spent the last 35 years gaining knowledge and experience clearing right-of-ways, ditches, logging operations, removing buckthorn, and operating heavy equipment in every soil condition imaginable. Not only do we harvest and protect trees, but we are also proud Arbor Day members and supporters. Each spring, Minnesota Clearing joins in and plants trees to replenish the ones we harvest. We make sure to utilize the trees we harvest in the best ways possible, whether it be in logs, firewood, or chips and mulching products. That way, we will always be protecting future generations to come.
